Empowering communities in Hiiraan through protection, relief, and sustainable development. We stand with women, children, and displaced families in their most vulnerable moments.
Hiran Nabad is a women-led humanitarian relief and development organization based in Beletweyne, Hiiraan, Somalia. Founded in 2018, we are committed to delivering life-saving assistance and promoting sustainable development for vulnerable communities.
We focus on protection, gender-based violence prevention, emergency relief, and community development — placing women and children at the center of all our programs.
We deliver impact through four core program areas designed to protect, empower, and uplift communities across Hiiraan.
Providing safe spaces, psychosocial support, and case management for survivors of gender-based violence.
Delivering emergency food, non-food items, and shelter assistance to displaced families and flood-affected communities.
Supporting women's leadership, economic empowerment, and participation in peacebuilding processes.
Providing skills training, literacy programs, and capacity building for youth and women in Hiiraan.
